Trip Overview

The tour begins with transportation from the airport in Seville (SVQ) to our hotel where you can settle in before our welcome dinner at a traditional tapas bar with a flamenco show. We will spend days two and three in Seville where we will experience guided tours by locals that will show us the markets, historical landmarks, and lifestyle of Sevillian culture. The following two days we will take day trips to Córdoba and Ronda where we will have the chance to do an olive oil tour and tasting as well as a guided tour of the iconic Mosque-Cathedral and visits to other architectural wonders. We will then take a train to Granada on day six and will spend the last three days soaking in the sights including the Alhambra with an opportunity to take a geometry design and ceramic mosaic workshop. Day nine, Saturday the 12th, is our last day and will end after one final group breakfast where we will say our goodbyes.

Each section of this tour is planned to offer intermittent free time so that you can venture out or decompress from your travels. Additionally, every day is coordinated in partnership with local guides so that you are ensured authentic experiences that are catered to the vegan taste.

Itinerary

On Day 1, Sunday, we will arrange a shuttle from the airport to our hotel where you can settle in and have some free time until we gather for a welcome dinner at a tapas bar where we will also be treated to a flamenco show.

On Day 2, we will have breakfast at the hotel and enjoy some free time until the afternoon when we will take a traditional tapas & market tour. We will embark on a journey where we’ll delve into one of Seville’s most traditional food markets—the Triana market. Here, we will uncover intriguing facts about the history of our gastronomy, its origins, and the art of crafting its most iconic dishes. We will end our night with a group dinner at a Sevillian vegan restaurant.

On Day 3, we will start with breakfast at the hotel and then we will head out to visit two of the main landmarks in Seville. A local guide will provide us with a tour of the Cathedral, considered to be the biggest gothic cathedral in the world, and the Royal Alcázar, a Moorish-style palace recognizable from its numerous appearances in movies and television shows. We will have lunch as a group and then have some free time before we regather for dinner later that evening.

On Day 5, we will have breakfast at the hotel and then take a private car to Ronda where we will explore this beautiful city, famous for its “New Bridge”, completed in 1793. Ronda sits perched along the cliffsides, straddling both north and south of the Guadalevín River, within the Sierra de las Nieves National Park. After a vegan picnic and a day of wandering the streets that inspired artists like Ernest Hemingway and Orson Welles, we will head back to Seville for our last dinner in the city.
