Hello! I’m Kim, Founder and Chief Tour Guide of Veg Jaunts and Journeys, and my passion is traveling.

I love to organize activity-packed, reasonably-priced trips!

I’ve traveled to 35 countries in Europe, Asia, Africa and South America, either alone or with small groups of travelers, and I handled all the planning and details. I’m overflowing with ideas for vegan travel. Please check out this website to learn about some of the exciting and endless possibilities for compassionate vegan traveling independently and in small groups.

My university degree is in geography, and I’ve held positions in the travel and tourism industry working for the Korean tourist office, a map and atlas publisher, Walt Disney Travel Company, and an Asian economic development organization.

I’m a global citizen who is passionate about showing others a simple way of traveling.

  • If you’re a new traveler, I’d love to show you how to travel confidently, and joining our small groups to discover all the exciting new vegan places sprouting up around the world is a perfect start.
  • If you’re an experienced traveler, I’d be thrilled to plan a customized itinerary for you! Let me know where you’d like to visit, or ask me for suggestions.

Why vegan tours?

  • Would you like to explore both exciting and relaxing destinations while enjoying vegan food and activities?

  • Do you want to travel, but feel hesitant going it alone?

  • Would you like to experience places while in the company of compassionate, like-minded people, exchanging ideas and learning more about the vegan lifestyle?

  • Would you like a hassle-free break, where all the planning and guiding will be taken care of for you?

Traveling as a vegan, it’s thrilling to explore new destinations that are friendly to our lifestyle, meeting fellow international vegans, and discovering vegan food in places where you’d never expect to find it.

I’ve never booked a group tour, because I didn’t want to waste money on food I chose not to eat, or give my money to attractions and activities that exploited animals in any way.

So I decided to create my own group tours! In this way, we can travel compassionately and environmentally responsibly by sharing transportation and using public transportation, visiting true animal sanctuaries, patronizing vegan restaurants, all while supporting local people and economies.

Please join us!

If you’d rather travel on your own, I can help you plan and book the vegan vacation of your dreams. You can find some ideas at our sister site, www.journeysbykim.com.
